Slide Max Pro pitch installed on the Turks and Caicos Islands

The TCIFA National Academy Stadium on the Turks and Caicos Islands was recently equipped with a GreenFields Slide Max Pro pitch. The stadium, located in Providenciales, is multifunctional and can host up to 500 spectators.

The stadium is commonly used by the Grassroots and Youth Development Football Program of TCIFA (Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association) to offer the young generation great opportunities for both local and international tournament experiences.

The GreenFields Slide Max Pro pitch installation is part of a FIFA Development project and the field is certified as a FIFA Quality pitch. The new Slide Max Pro pitch is a replacement for a GreenFields pitch that was installed in the stadium in 2011, on behalf of FIFA. Based on the good quality of the old pitch, FIFA and TCIFA opted for GreenFields as their Preferred Producer again. The new pitch was successfully installed by our partner GCC Sport Surfaces.

To keep the pitch in perfect shape during the years to come, GreenFields has supplied a full range of maintenance equipment, including a tractor. The team at TCIFA got a detailed instruction on site on how to maintain the pitch and keep it in the best possible condition throughout its entire lifetime.
